Additional Info:
Making that first call to see a therapist can be one of the hardest things to do. Counseling can help lessen depression and anxiety. It can help make sense out of troubling childhood experiences. It can also make more clear if a relationship that is in distress can be saved. The downside is that sometimes discussing sad and upsetting things can seem to make the bad feelings worse, even if in the end things may get better.

Psychotherapy is serious stuff. It doesn't have to be stuffy, though. Dr. Kweller tries to bring a sense of humor to his work as well as an upbeat attitude. He also strives to show respect for his clients, to indicate a non-judgmental attitude, and to learn from his clients as well as to offer them insight from his training and experience.

Dr. Kweller is also an Executive and Personal Coach using his Plan for Success model. Coaching focuses on developing successful skill sets for achieving business and personal goals. Coaching can facilitate efficiency, organization, leadership, communication and motivation. Coaching may result in greater feelings of taking control of life, living consistently with one's values and vision, and organizing and making decisions through balanced priorities.
